YourMealPlanRX was not built by a doctor, registered dietitian, or any other medical professional. It was built by someone in their 70s managing Type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure who needed a better way to track what they eat.
The tool works well for its creator and may help you too — but this site is not a qualified source of dietary guidance. Nothing here is medical advice. Please talk to your doctor before making changes to your diet.
All content on this website and within the YourMealPlanRX application — including recipes, meal plans, nutritional data, and any commentary — is provided for general informational and personal tracking purposes only.
Nutritional needs vary by individual based on health conditions, medications, age, and many other factors that only a qualified healthcare provider can properly evaluate.
The person behind YourMealPlanRX is not a licensed physician, registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), certified nutritionist, or any other type of credentialed healthcare professional.
YourMealPlanRX is a personal productivity and tracking tool. It uses publicly available nutritional data from the FatSecret food database. That data is provided as-is. Its accuracy, completeness, and applicability to your specific situation cannot be guaranteed.
Consulting a licensed physician or registered dietitian is especially important if you:
Nutritional values displayed in YourMealPlanRX are pulled from multiple public databases including FatSecret and Open Food Facts. These databases are maintained separately and can report meaningfully different calorie, macronutrient, and micronutrient values for the same food item.
Differences arise from lab measurement methodology, brand recipe reformulations, serving size definitions, and data entry variation. The same "ground beef, 80/20" entry can carry different numbers depending on the source, the cut, the cook method assumed, and when the data was last updated.
We display the closest available match to your search term. We do not verify, audit, or independently confirm any nutritional value shown. For clinical, medical, therapeutic, or any health-critical nutrition tracking, always verify values directly from the product's official Nutrition Facts label and consult a registered dietitian.
Store prices shown in the shopping list are estimates retrieved from the Kroger API at the time you submit your list. They are not guaranteed to reflect the price you will actually pay. Prices can differ — sometimes significantly — due to:
The estimated grocery total is a rough planning budget, nothing more. YourMealPlanRX is not responsible for any pricing discrepancy between what is shown in the app and what you are charged at the store. Always confirm your cart total in the Kroger app and at the register.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YourMealPlanRX and its creators and operators disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this website or application — including but not limited to reliance on any nutritional information, meal plan, recipe, grocery price estimate, or third-party data displayed herein.
All nutritional data, pricing information, and health-related content is provided for estimation and planning purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice, and it is not a guarantee of actual store pricing.
